Mission Statement
“To enjoy friendship with like-minded individuals while serving the needs of the local community and the wider world.”
Who are the Lioness?
Most of our members are age 18 to infinity. We have joined together in friendship and enjoy each other’s company. We pride ourselves on playing an active part in the local community, helping those less fortunate than ourselves, and enjoying a social life with like-minded individuals who come from all walks of life.
What do the Lioness do?
The Chino Valley Lioness Club – Lions Club is a non-profit organization that works in their community voluntarily, with support from friends and family. The Lioness give help by donating time and financial resources where the need arises. Every penny raised for charitable purposes is used to assist others.
Examples of our Projects
1. We just finished having a very successful 4th Annual Wine, Bites & Brew Tasting Event. We included raffles, door prizes, and a silent auction, animals, lots of music and so much more.
2. Once a year, we have the 4th and 5th graders write an essay about “I Love Arizona because…”. The winners are given certificates and are monetary rewarded. A way to help the the winning students with their future.
3. We pick up bread at the Wildflower Bread Company one to two Thursday nights a month and deliver the breads to the Senior Center and to the Chino Valley Food Bank.
4. We participate with the Morning Lions in a booth for Halloween Trick-Or-Treat in the Park and Territorial Days cleaning up & running the Vendor area.
